homework questions

1. Homeostasis is important to your body’s functioning because it regulates and maintains an internal equilibrium in the body, so basically controlling everything. It maintains equilibrium in all our body contains. Our body has the necessity to maintain an internal environment, for example it regulates blood temperature, blood sugar levels, and water in your body. Therefore homeostasis it is important to our body’s function, considering it needs a narrow range of conditions to survive.

2. The three ways that help our skin maintain homeostasis in our body is sweating, shivering and hair. These help to regulate our body temperature provide a barrier against dirt and microorganisms, as well as to serves for protection.

3.One way that our body maintains a constant temperature while outside on a cold day is: “releasing heat”. Our body maintains a normal temperature of 37°. To maintain a constant temperature and balance in our body we start sweating and then we cool down when the sweating evaporates.
